  1. To have clear routines and a good rapport with your students based on respect and appreciation of everyone’s skills, abilities and ideas.

  2. Intervention within the lesson – assessing pupils progress and providing individual support and guidance.

    Differentiated work for higher and lower abilities, within ability groupings.

  3. Outstanding teaching or outstanding learning?

    Teaching – sound working habits with targeted questions and excellent subject knowledge. Flexible to develop interest of students.

    Learning – reliance on other students and resources not the teacher. Genuine interest in the subject (wonderment and awe). Work showing care and attention to detail.

  4. Students who are resilient and willing to try a challenge. Students who use the same language for learning that we do with an understanding of what it means
